Road Closure

Due to the Southeast Interceptor Sewer Project, Cline Avenue will be closed on or about February 1, 2010.  The roadway will be completely closed to through traffic from 77th Avenue to 85th Avenue.  This section of the sewer project will take approximatley 3 weeks to complete.
 
The contractor will need to make accommodations for the residential and school bus traffic as well as provide access to the cemetery and funeral home.

In an effort to help decrease crime and increase transparency, the Schererville Police Department has registered and begun using two new forms of social media.  Residents are now able to get important updates regarding public safety, traffic, and other information by following us on Twitter or Nixle.  Stay tuned as the number and frequency of updates will gradually increase over time.
